The latest Google Nexus 10 concept image that surfaced last week shows off a Nexus 7 2 design.

The photo was first published by Phone Arena and it has a similar design with Google's 7-inch slab.

According to the report, Google Nexus 10 is speculated to have a better screen resolution or speakers. The previous Google Nexus 10 boasts huge audio volume and 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution.

According to rumours, the upcoming Nexus 10 2 will bring forth features such as IGZO screen display with higher resolution; quad core Snapdragon 800 chip processor; Tegra 4 CPU; 2 GB of RAM and up to 32 GB of storage.

The 10-inch tablet from Google will come pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat OS that will bring forth many new and improved features. It seemed that Google will no longer work with Samsung and will partner with ASUS because of the success and popularity of the Nexus 7 tablet.

Moreover, Google Nexus 10 2 will most likely pack an improved design and may also include new features such as a larger internal storage and an expandable storage via MicroSD slot as well as LTE Connectivity support that were lacking on the current Nexus 10.

Last week, the current Google Nexus 10 was spotted in an eBay listing with discounted price that hinted the imminent release date of the next generation of the device. The eBay user offers the tablet for $350. The original price for the 32GB version of Google Nexus 10 is $499.

The Google Nexus 10 features are 10 inches screen display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 2; Dual Core A15 processor paired with 2GB of RAM; and 16GB and 32GB storage variants.

It was released with the 4.2 version Jelly Bean OS but recently received the 4.3 Jelly Bean OS update. Google Nexus 10 packs 5MP back camera and 1.9MP front-facing camera. The tablet also boasts an amazing 9,000 mAh battery life.

It seems that the eBay user is trying to exhaust the remaining inventory of the 10-inch tablet before of the next release date. Google Nexus 10 2 release date will most likely happen on October 31 alongside Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat OS announcement.
