Google Nexus 10 2 Ditching Snapdragon Chip for Tegra 4 CPU?
Google Nexus 10 2 may pack Tegra 4 CPU and not the rumoured Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset.
New speculations claimed that the upcoming Google Nexus 10 2 will be powered by Tegra 4 CPU just like its predecessor. This is fantastic news to interested buyers who are also gamers as the Tegra 4 chipset is heralded as the best in terms of gaming performance.
It was previously reported that Google Nexus 10 2 will pack a quad core Snapdragon 800 chip processor just like its brother - Nexus 5.
What attracted most consumers to wait for the Google Nexus 10 2 release date are the rumours surrounding the tablet. Nexus 10 2 will most likely retain its 10-inch screen display but will pack 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. Just like its brother Nexus 5, Google's tablet will sport a separate Adreno 330 GPU for better and faster graphic processing. Other alleged specs of Google Nexus 10 2 are 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants.
The device will run with Android 4.4 KitKat OS that will bring new software features to the tablet. Moreover, Google Nexus 10 2 is speculated to follow the pricing strategy of its predecessor with the 16 GB variant costs $399 and the 32 GB model costs $499. These attractive prices are one of the best assets of Google devices.
All eyes are on Google Nexus 10 2, especially since the device has not shown even its shadow until now. It was initially speculated that Google Nexus 10 2 will arrive in the market this Black Friday. However, retailers are already busy handing out deals and discounts but Google's 10-inch tablet has not seen the light of the day yet.
Now, Google is more than aware that the consumer demand for its full-sized tablet is high; it may lead to its launch anytime soon. But even then Google has not given any indication that this could be true.
