Google Nexus 10 2 Release Date At CES 2014?
Google Nexus 10 2 release date will be rolled out at Consumers Electronics Show next year. This was according to the report of States Chronicles stating that the device will arrive next month.
States Chronicles cited @evleaks and suppliers of the subcomponents saying the possibility that Nexus 10 will be available in a month's time. Google has not revealed any data whether it will release the successor of its 10-inch tablet anytime soon.
The first generation of Nexus 10 tablet is sold out in the Google Play Store for quite some time. The company has no plans of restocking the device. A Google spokesman earlier confirmed this month that the company "does not plan to restock the device once it sells out.
Moreover, retailers are exhausting all the remaining inventory of the Nexus 10 tablet by bringing down the device price.
The Samsung-made Nexus 10 tablet was released in October last year. However, it failed to appeal to the consumers like how Nexus 4, 5, and 7 did. Google is known for releasing devices that are cheap with amazing specs and features.
There were talks that the Google Nexus 10 2 will be manufactured by either LG or ASUS but Google has not confirmed any detail of the device yet. There has been a few updates on the release date of Google Nexus 10 2 after the device skipped the Black Friday and Cyber Monday festivities leaving many consumers frustrated.
Waiting fans wished that Google will release a timetable for its upcoming devices. Other fans already bought other tablet alternatives like the iPad line.
Google Nexus 10 2 will pack the same 10-inch screen display with pixel resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. The tablet may be powered by Tegra 4 chip processor, which is different from initial speculations that the tablet will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset like its brother, Nexus 5.
The tablet may also pack a separate Adreno 330 graphics chip and 2 GB of RAM for faster processing. Google Nexus 10 2 will also have an 8MP rear camera and will run with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Consumers may choose between 16 GB and 32 GB variants.
