Google Nexus 10 2 Release Date May Still Happen This Week - Report
Google Nexus 10 2 release date may still occur this week, according to a report.
MobileBloom claimed Google Nexus 10 2 may still show up despite skipping Black Friday and Cyber Monday festivities. The basis of this rumor is still unclear. The report said since the first generation of Google Nexus 10 is currently out of stock in the Play Store, there is a great chance that the successor is coming soon.
No official news yet from Google which company is developing the new version of the 10-inch Nexus branded tablet. Rumors pointed that either LG or Asus may make the next 10-inch tablet of Google.
There is a high demand on Google Nexus 10 2 and may win the intense competition in the tablet market. Samsung-made Nexus 10 tablet was released last year but failed to make a huge impact in the market because of the availability of various competitive tablets. Today, retailers are exhausting the remaining inventory of the Nexus 10 tablet by reducing the price.
Google may just slip the second generation of Nexus 10 in the Play Store like what it did to the Nexus 5 smartphone. However, some rumors claimed no Nexus 10 2 may be released this year as Google may be launching an 8-inch or 9-inch tablet to replace Nexus 10 2.
Other reports claimed that Nexus 10 2 may pack Tegra 4 chip processor, which is different from initial speculations that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset similar to the Nexus 5. Tegra 4 CPU is great for gaming as it delivers faster processing.
Google Nexus 10 2 are also expected to pack a 10-inch screen display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The tablet will also have a separate Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM for faster processing. Like its predecessor, Nexus 10 2 will most likely be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants. The device will surely run with Android 4.4 KitKat OS and will be priced like the previous Nexus 10 tablet with 16 GB variant costing $399 and the 32 GB model for $499.
