Google Nexus 10 2 Release Date Set Nov. 21
Google Nexus 10 2 release date may happen Nov. 21. Google's 10-inch tablet may be launched when the company will refresh the Google Play Store in attempt to improve the Android tablet experience. Google has announced that the tablet-optimized apps will be more visible for those browsing the Play store with a tablet starting Nov. 21.
Android developers announced the revamp as a reminder for them to update their apps and games prepared for tablet usage.
"On Nov. 21, the Play Store will make a series of changes so it's even easier for tablet users to find those apps that are best for their devices. First, by default, users browsing Google Play on a tablet will now see apps and games that are designed for tablets on the top lists (Top Paid, Top Free, Top Grossing, Top New Paid, Top New Free, and Trending). Tablet users will still be able to switch the view so they can see all apps or games if they choose," according to the blog post by the Google Play team.
The search engine giant warned that apps and games that would not meet company's 'designed for tablets' criteria will be marked as 'designed for phones' for the users browsing Play store on Android tablets. The blog post also claimed that more than 70 million Android tablets have now been activated.
Google Play Store will now have a new section that will show apps that fit or work best in a tablet. Thus, Google will probably release the Nexus 10 during the update that will be the first tablet to offer the new Android experience.
Until now, Google still has not announced or provided a hint on the release date of the updated Nexus 10. Google Nexus 10 2 may be released alongside the Nexus 8, according to the report from Highlight Press.
Rumors claimed that Google Nexus 10 2 has an improved design. The tablet will also include full HD display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The new Google's tablet will sport a quad core Snapdragon 800 chip processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU for better and faster processing. The tablet will have internal storage of up to 32GB and will run with Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
