Google Nexus 10 2 Resurfaces: Release Date and Specs
What seemed to be news that died down for a few weeks now becomes a topic of headlines once more. According to reports, there are still analysts who believe that Google will be releasing its Google Nexus 10 2 tablet within the year. It might not have pushed through last year as expected but analysts remained convinced that the internet giant has not abandoned the idea of releasing the device. Will the Google Nexus 10 2 tablet be finally hitting stores?
The year now enters March and people have been wondering what happened to previous reports saying Google will be releasing the second generation Nexus 10 late 2013. Likewise, consumers have also noted Google Playstore still selling the previous Nexus 10 model. As the market continues to wait for Google to release something, the rumors started dying only to be resurrected again.
According to recent information, the latest tip sounds more promising than previous reports. Motoring Crunch reported that they received information about HTC getting picked to be the next Nexus producer. There are no clear details whether the company will be producing the Nexus 7 line as well but the report said HTC may take on Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 2.
There are also sources saying that the next Nexus launch will be around the third quarter of 2014. While there are no tips yet if Google will be releasing the last line of Nexus, many analysts believe the company will be taking on a new business approach. It may kill the Nexus line but replace it entirely. Stopping a program that offers great sales potential may not be wise for Google. If not, the company must only reevaluate its approach to tech production.
Despite the lead, people will have to wait for Google's announcement on the matter. Reported features include: nVidia Tegra 4 processor or a Qualcomm 800 Snapdragon, Adreno GPU 330 as well as 3GB RAM. There should also be a 32GB internal storage option, 8MP primary camera, 2.1MP primary camera and 9500mAh. The display may be around 10 inches offering 2560 x 1600 pixels with 299ppi.
