Google's Nexus 10 will be arriving this week. Reports say Google will be revealing the latest Nexus 10 mid-October. What can people expect from Google's device?

Reports confirmed that the tablet will be under Asus. Google has previously paired up with Asus to deliver its first- and second-generation Nexus 7. It was a likely partnership, as Asus delivered two of the best tablets on the market today.

An inventory listing has also listed the device as "Google 10 16G." This confirms the Asus label on the gadget. Along with this listing, there are also sources saying that Google will be offering the device at around $399.

The reported price is higher compared to the price tag of the current model. Google may have something up its sleeves and more premium features if it will be asking for a higher price for the new Nexus.

Android 4.4 KitKat

Another important detail about the Nexus 10 is that it may be one of the flagship devices of the Android 4.4 KitKat. Many are anticipating the next Android update especially with the leaked specs. A report by Gadget Helpline provided useful information about what people can expect from the OS.

For instance, Google seems to have included additional sub-sections for Printing and Payments. The Payments section will feature wireless NFC payments. Instead of third party apps, people can now access their NFC payments through Android.

Native smartphone printing has been a concern among Android users. Android device owners have to look for and install third party app downloads. It was also only possible if the printer manufacturer develops the app for it. It seems Android will be including native printing to its ecosystem.

People will have to wait for Google to confirm this feature though.

Other features reported can be found in the Settings app. The Wireless display will be incorporating Miracast technology to compete against AirPlay from Apple. The setting will allow people to connect wireless video outputs to televisions. Although the Wireless display feature is not really new, the one on the Nexus 10 should be more of an improved version of the same feature running in the Nexus 7.

There is also an additional feature referred to as "Manage Mobile plan." Users can find this feature in the "Wireless & networks" section.
