Google Nexus 2015 On Release Date To Be Called Google Nexus 5 2015, Next Nexus Smartphone Revealed In A Video
The Google Nexus 2015 smartphone has not been officially unveiled by Google but rumour mill has already started talking about the purported specs and features of the device. Compared to the good reception received by Google Nexus 5 from 2013, the huge Google Nexus 6 phablet has not impressed the audience mainly because of its hefty price tag and huge 6-inch display.
According to a recent post from Android Origin, the next Google Nexus smartphone will be a refreshed version of the Nexus 5 that was built by LG. Even though there is no official confirmation on the name and specs of the Nexus 6 successor, speculations claim that it will be called Nexus 5 2015.
In the previous week, Google had released a video on for its ongoing Project Fi. The comments posted on the YouTube video already have the viewers guessing on the mysterious Nexus device shown in the video. Many are speculating it as the Nexus 5 2015. The Google Fi is said to be the cellular network service from the search engine giant that can automatically toggle between Wi-Fi and cellular networks to minimize data cost and phone bills.
Android Origin further adds that the front side of the device is quite similar to that of Nexus 5. One should be aware of the fact that apart from the Nexus 6 there is no other Nexus model that is the only device that supports Google Fi. This is an indication that the upcoming Nexus 5 smartphone will be supporting the Google Fi.
Another interesting piece of information that has cropped is that Google will be teaming up Huawei, the popular smartphone manufacturer, to be build the Nexus 5 2015. A recent report from the International Business Times suggests that LG or Motorola will manufacture the 2015 Nexus smartphone and tablet.
The Verge’s report suggest that the Google Nexus 5 2015 will be unveiled at the Google I/O event that will take place on May 28 and 29 in San Francisco, U.S. As far as the Google Nexus 5 2015 release date is concerned, it is expected to roll out in the fourth quarter of this year.
