Google Nexus 2015 Release Date Pegged As Q4, Set To Get Unveiled On May 28, Will Be An Upgraded Version Of Nexus 5
Google Nexus 2015 rumours are building up steadily as the search engine giant is speculated to release a successor for Nexus 6, the flagship smartphone of 2014 this year. Google usually works with other smartphone manufacturers to build the Nexus phone. This year Nexus 2015 is heavily rumoured to be built by LG but fresh reports claim that Motorola too is speculated to build it.
According to Venture Capital Post (VC Post), the Nexus 6 that was built by Motorola did not receive good receive reception from the consumer. Hence, the Nexus 2015 will be a renewed version of the Nexus 5 that was released in 2013.
It further states that the reason why the Nexus 6 is not doing good business is because of its huge display size of 6-inch and its expensive price tag. The Nexus handsets have been always known for its cheaper price tag along with topnotch hardware. However, the Nexus 6 ended up disappointing the audience.
As far as the rumoured specs of the Nexus 5 2015 is concerned, Google will be partnering again with Motorola to build it, claims VC Post. It is expected to feature a 5-inch display with support for 4K resolution. The Nexus 5 2015 is said to feature an enhanced 13 MP camera with better image processing feature. Like the rear camera, the front-facing 5 MP camera is also expected to support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
The Nexus 6 phablet was launched with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The International Business Times report that was published on April 22 says that Android 6.0 Muffin is purported as the next major version of Android. The Nexus 5 2015 may come with a new version of Android. Another IBTimes that claims that the Nexus 2015 will be an iPhone killer and it will be built by LG and offer features of the LG G4 and the LG G4 Note.
