Google Nexus 2015 Rumours: LG Nexus 5 (2015) specifications, features, price and availability
The LG Nexus 5 (2015) and Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) are heavily rumoured to get announced at Sept. 29 launch event. The Huawei handset will be a premium device with metallic chassis and high-end specs. On the other side, the LG Nexus variant is speculated to be an upper-midrange smartphone.
LG Nexus 5 (2015) Specifications And Features
According to Phone Arena, the LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be fitted with a 5.2-inch screen supporting full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be offering a pixel density of around 423 ppi. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 808 chipset that also powers the LG G4.
The chipset will be accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. Rumours indicate that it will be available in two storage options such as 32 GB and 64 GB.
Speculations also indicate that the handset could also be made available in a base model with 16 GB storage. The handset will not be featuring support for expandable storage. It will shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
The LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be fitted with a 12.7 MP rear camera that will be enabled with features like dual-LED flash and infra-red focus. Speculations also suggest that it may come with Optical Image Stabilization feature. It is expected to house a selfie camera of 5 MP.
It will be featuring a non-removable battery of 2,700 mAh capacity. Some of the other features of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) include USB Type-C connector, and fingerprint scanner.

The LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be available in different colours such as blue, white and black, Android PIT reported. The base model of the handset will be priced at $399. It is expected to get showcased to the world on Sept. 29 and is likely to be available for buying from Oct. 13.
The handset is rumoured to launch with LG Nexus 5X moniker. As of this writing, there is no official confirmation aforementioned specs of the LG variant of 2015 Nexus smartphone.
