Google Nexus 4 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Scheduled for February/March Release? [PHOTOS]
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is just around the corner for Nexus 4 as well as Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 after Google reportedly completed the internal tests on the latest Android operating system. Nexus users can upgrade their devices once the Android update is released sometime mid-February until early days of March.
An exact date on the Android 4.2.2 release was not revealed. Nevertheless, the Nexus users will still be relieved to hear the confirmation news on the said update since the Android 4.2.1 update created numerous flaws on the Nexus devices.
Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update does not bring in additional features. The update is only aimed to fix the bugs that have pestered the users of Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 with the Android 4.2.1 update such as poor battery charging, a bleak battery backup and a slow interface.
Other problems were encountered as well on the Nexus devices. Users complained about inability to access or do simple tasks on their e-mail and Facebook. The massive range on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update only heads towards the direction of a bug repair. The recent update is much better compare to the Android 4.2.1 update which was released in December to resolve the bug coming from the Android 4.2 update.
Experts suggest that the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean will be Google's last update before releasing another brand new operating system called the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie in the upcoming months. Google could probably be getting ready in incorporating new features to the much improved Android operating system.
Meanwhile, Google has not officially released a statement regarding the soon-to-be-launched Android operating systems. Device users will just have to patiently wait for the release of the anticipated software.
