Google Nexus 5 is now available for purchase in an eBay listing for a much higher price.

Interested buyers may check out the eBay listing and grab the upcoming Google Nexus 5. The 16GB and 32GB variant of the device costs $600 and $650, respectively. The prices of the Google Nexus 5 variants are definitely way more expensive when the device will be available in the Google Play Store. However, this could be the prices of the unlocked version of the device.

According to the eBay user yoshio_221, "The reason why I am doing this is because the phone will most likely not be available in most regions across the globe, so I am offering my time and effort to get the phone to you as fast as possible, so you don't have to wait weeks or months to get it. Be the first." Currently, the eBay user has 5 units of each variant available.

The photo used in the eBay listing is the same photo of Google Nexus 5 that mysteriously appeared in Google Play Store last week.

Google has not announced the Nexus 5 yet but it was poised beside Nexus 7 2 and Nexus 10. According to the posting, Nexus 5 will cost $349 for the 16GB variant. Thus, it is speculated that the 32GB variant will cost $399. However, Google now pulled out the image from the Google Play Store.

Google sent out invites to a Google Play event on October 24 in New York City at 7PM. The event may unveil the Google Nexus 5, Nexus 10 as well as Android 4.4. KitKat roll out.

The invite just reads, "Join us for a night out with Google Play." Thus, it may also introduce new apps that will be launched.

According to rumours, Google Nexus 5 features will include a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor chip at 2.3 GHz and a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

Users may take photos through back and front cameras that may be 13 and 2 megapixels, respectively. The device may also pack 2 or 3GB of RAM, 2700mAh battery, and the Adreno 330 GPU. One of the most anticipated features of the next Google Nexus smartphone is the pre-installed Android 4.4 Kitkat.

Some reports claimed that Google will offer a LG Nexus 4 with LTE capabilities.
