Google Nexus 5 32 GB black variant is back on sale in the Google Play Store UK, according to CNET.

Google seemed to have replenished the stocks of the Nexus 5 smartphone in its store after the device sold out in just 2 days after its release. However, buyers may have to wait up to 5 weeks for shipping. Google Play Store now allows consumers to buy two smartphones but with a disclaimer that says "leaves warehouse in 4-5 weeks."

The less appealing white variant, on the other hand, is readily available and should be with customers by early next week.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., the new Google Nexus 5 is also listed in Amazon for just $49.99. The smartphone is offered by LG Electronics and is locked in with Sprint. However, as of this writing, the device is currently out of stock, so interested buyers may have to check back and wait for LG to restock and once again offer the device up for sale at Amazon.

Sprint is offering the new Google Nexus 5 for $149.99 on a 2-year contract or $449.99 outright without a lengthy agreement. Amazon slashed the carrier's price by offering the Sprint Nexus 5 for a considerably lower price, selling the smartphone for just $49.99 upon signing a 2-year contract with the said carrier. This is the first time that Sprint is carrying a Nexus device, and it looks like it aims attract more customers to its network with the new device offering.

On the country's Google Play Store, the smartphone costs $349.99, but strong demand pushed back the shipment date of the device. However, the current situation at the Play Store is relatively better than last year when the LG Nexus 4 posed some serious stock issues, as both Google and LG were overwhelmed by demand and the smartphone was barely in stock in the Google Play Store.

The Nexus 5 is the first devie to run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, sporting some new features and functionality. It also comes with a 4.95-inch display with full HD 1,080p resolution, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, an 8-MP camera with optical image stabilisation and 16 or 32 GB internal storage configurations.
