Google Nexus 5 release date is still unconfirmed by the search engine giant but it will go against the rugged version of the popular Samsung Galaxy S4.

Google Nexus 5 is believed to be released around October or November coinciding with the fifth anniversary of Google's Android operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is a slightly cheaper version of GS4 but the handset is a water resistant phone. It also offers some of the great features of Galaxy S4. The device is now available for purchase in major carriers and retailers.
