Google Nexus 5 and Sony Xperia Honami are only two of the smartphones consumers must watch out for later this year.

Google Nexus 5 is believed to be released around October or November coinciding with the fifth anniversary of Google's Android operating system.

A new Google Nexus 5 concept emerged last week showing off a Sony designed smartphone. The specs and features are also based on the leaked specs of Sony Xperia Honami.

Last week, a photo claimed to be taken by the powerful camera of Sony Xperia Honami spread online. It seemed that Sony Xperia Honami aimed to battle other smartphones by giving more attention to its camera.

Sony Xperia Honami will be unveiled on September 4 in Berlin, Germany during IFA 2013. A poster of the device with such launch details has already been leaked a few days ago.

Below is the comparison of specs and features between Google Nexus 5 and Sony Xperia Honami.

Screen Display - The Sony Xperia Honami will include a 5-inch 1080p Triluminos display. Google Nexus 5, on the other hand, is expected to come with 5-inch Full HD screen display.

Processor - Google Nexus 5 will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that possesses a clock rate of 2.3GHz paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. This is also the rumoured processor of Sony Xperia Honami.

Operating System - Both smartphones will run with Android operating system. Sony Xperia Honami may arrive with the 4.3 version of the Jelly Bean OS. While the Google Nexus 5 is expected to include an upcoming version of Android OS dubbed as the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

Internal Storage - Sony Xperia Honami may come with 16GB built-in storage. Google Nexus 5 is rumoured to come in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB variants.

Camera - Sony Xperia Honami is rumoured to come with 20 megapixel rear shooter and 2MP front camera while the Google Nexus 5 will come with 13 megapixels back camera.

Battery Life - Sony Xperia Honami may pack a 3000mAh battery capacity. Google Nexus 5 is also expected to come with 3300mAh Li-polymer battery.
