Japanese electronics firm Sony introduced its popular smartphone Sony Xperia Z early this year, which proved to be a powerful contender in the smartphone market.
Sony unveiled its quad-core flagship phone at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show in Barcelona, Spain early this month. The device boasts 5-inch 1080p screen and other powerful specs such as 13MP camera, Jelly Bean OS and a quad core processor. Sony is hoping that its latest Android handset will give its high end rivals a run for their money.

Screen Display - The Sony Xperia Z sports a 5-inch Full HD screen display, which is the current trend among smartphones in the market. Google Nexus 5, on the other hand, is expected to come with 5-inch Full HD screen display.
Processor - Google Nexus 5 will include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that possesses a clock rate of 2.3GHz paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, which will go against 1.5GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor with 2GB of RAM.
Storage - The Sony Xperia Z has 16GB internal storage. Google Nexus 5 is rumoured to come in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB variants.
Operating System - The new smartphone from Sony comes with Androidv4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and will soon receive the latest 4.3 version of Jelly Bean. While the Google Nexus 5 is expected to include a 4.3 version of the said OS.
Camera - One of the amazing features of the Sony Xperia Z is its 13 megapixel, which is the same spec for Google Nexus 5.
Battery - The Sony Xperia Z has 2330 mAh battery while Google Nexus 5 is expected to come with 3300mAh Li-polymer battery.
