Google Nexus 6 Concept Image Packs Curved Screen Display
The new Google Nexus 6 concept image has packed a curved screen display.
LG F Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round were the first smartphones to adopt a curved screen display. The size and resolution of the screen were not detailed. Consumers may guess that the screen could be 5.2 inches with 2K pixel resolution.
If this concept were true, it showed LG Electronics took the helm. LG was behind the two previous Nexus smartphones and the devices were popular and have a great following. Thus, working with LG for the third time is not impossible.
According to Concept Phones, the handset will pack a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 3 GB RAM and 16 MP back camera with dual LED flash. Speakers were placed at the bottom of the device.
Google has not yet revealed the official specs and features of Nexus 6 handset. But it was rumored Google Nexus 6 will pack a quad HD screen display with 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution, a 64-bit processor and 16 MP rear camera.
Other Google Nexus 6 rumored features are 5.2-inch full-HD, curved LCD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, 64-bit version of its Snapdragon 800-series chipset paired 3 GB RAM, 13 MP camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth, NFC, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi and 4G.
It is no brainer that the next Nexus smartphone will be released with the next version of Android operating system dubbed as 4.5 Lollypop. Also, the handset was speculated to be available in 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage variants.
Google Nexus 6 release date was still unconfirmed as Google was tight lipped when it comes to its roadmap and devices to be released this year.
But at the Mobile World Congress in February, Google's VP Sundar Pichai hinted the next Google handset will be launched in the second half of the year, as he revealed that no Nexus smartphone will arrive in the first half of 2014. There is a big chance that Nexus 6 will be rolled out in October.
