Smart phone users will be busy shopping for mobile phones come September for words have been circulating that both Google Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come out in September. So how will one model fare against the other upon their market release in Australia?

Price

Both the Google Nexus 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be in the same price range upon its market release. According to The Galaxy Note 4 Web site, the Note 4 will cost around $860 in Australia. Meanwhile, Nexus6price.com specifically mentioned that Nexus 6 will be AU$899 upon its release.

WaterProof and Dust Resitance Capabilities

Both Google Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are reportedly waterproof and dust resistant. With these capabilities, smart phone users will have peace of mind that their gadget will continue to function well even when experiencing accidental splash while being used.

Processor

The difference between the two smart phones is more distinguishable in their specs. Google Nexus 6 will reportedly have the next generation Snapdragon SoC, 3 GB of RAM, and 2.3 GHz Adreno graphics. On the other hand, a number of Web sites confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have either the Octa-core or big LITTLE 16-core processor on Exynos 64-bit chipset running on 4 GB of RAM.

Display

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will fare better against Google Nexus 6 when it comes to display. Note 4 will reportedly boost of a 5.7-inch screen size with 3480 x 2160 pixels display. It will also have 820 pixels high quality definition. Meanwhile, Google Nexus 6 will only come in a 5.2-inch screen size with 2560 x 1440p display, and high quality definition image density of 550 pixels. Although the pixels and image density will not be very obvious for normal users, they will be able to easily spot the difference in the two smart phones' screen sizes.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will most likely have 20.7 megapixel camera while Google Nexus 6 will reportedly come with either 13 or 21 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and better night time picture. It will also have 4,000 video recording capability. Although, most Web sites have not provided any confirmation on both phone cameras so there is a possibility that these will still change.

Fingerprint Scanner and Handwriting Recognition

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will still have two more cool features which will set it apart from Google Nexus 6. Note 4 will have finger print scanner and handwriting recognition for security purposes. Only authorized users will be able to use the device and access its data.

Given the information above, it will now be up to the users to choose between the two smart phones. Galaxy Note 4 and Nexus 6 release date will reportedly fall in September.
