Google Nexus 6P may be a better deal than Apple iPhone 7 Plus for the not so brand conscious
Those who have not yet spent their moneys on the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and are still looking out, the Google Nexus 6P could well be another great option. Apple and Google fans will definitely be loyal to their brands. However, those who do not fall in that category, may like to now features of both before emptying their pockets.
According to Mobile & Apps, both the Google Nexus 6P and Apple iPhone 7 Plus have non-removable batteries though Nexus 6P’s battery (3,450 mAh) is a bit more powerful than the iPhone 7 Plus’ battery (2,900 mAh).
In terms of camera specs, the Nexus 6P has a 12.3MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera. Features included are HDR, panorama, face detection, geo-tagging, dual-LED Flash, touch focus and autofocus.
The iPhone 7 Plus has a 12MP primary shooter and a 7MP selfie camera. Features included are HDR, face detection, touch focus, geo-tagging, 2x optical zoom, OIS, phase detection autofocus and Quad-LED Flash.
Both the Google Nexus 6P and iPhone 7 Plus come three internal storage variants. While the Nexus 6P comes with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options, the iPhone 7 Plus has 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options. The microSD slot is missing in both, writes NEUROGADGET.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus sports an A10 Fusion processor, 3GB RAM and six-core graphics card. The Nexus 6P sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM and an Adreno 430 graphics card.
Apple iPhone 7 Plus’ 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 401 ppi whereas the Google Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch AMOLED display that supports a higher resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 518 ppi.
As per CNET, the Google Nexus 6P costs $899 for the 32GB model, $999 for the 64GB model and $1,099 for the 128GB model. The iPhone 7 Plus 32GB costs $1,269, 128GB costs $1,419 and 256GB costs $1,569, writes M.I.C. The AirPods cost an extra US$160 (AU$212).
