Rumoured Google Nexus 7 2 made an FCC appearance and apparently running the upcoming Android 4.3 with some preview of the on-board hardware - Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 PRO and 3950 mAh battery.

Recently, the K008 7-inch tablet from ASUS has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG with operating system Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and now it has been linked to the upcoming Google Nexus 7 2 as it moved to FCC.

Next-generation Google 7 leaked appearing via an FCC filing with the announced Android 4.3 OS. ASUS tablet K008 7 inch was also spotted at the FCC running Android 4.3 OS as well which now being suspected as the upcoming Google Nexus 7 2.

Bluetooth SIG recently certified the ASUS K008 tablet with Bluetooth 4.0 and the software version running it has been confirmed as the unreleased version of the Android OS, 4.3 Jelly Bean.

According to the leaked images, the design name is K008 with JWR11 software build number which speculated as the Android 4.3 build. It was assessed on June 10 2013 and features 7-inches of LED-backlit capacitive multi-touch screen and wireless network connection.

Technical specifications of the Google Nexus 7 2 also leaked which includes Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, full 1080p HD screen display, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB on-board storage, NFC, Wi-Fi, LTE, Wireless Qi Charging and 3950 mAh.

Release Date

Google and ASUS haven't announced any confirmation regarding the Nexus 7 2 but the FCC filing indicates that both companies are partners again for the manufacturing of the upcoming Android tablet.

Launching date would likely be this summer which will not affect the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie rumoured schedule on October 2013. The FCC filing didn't include the Nexus or Google branding but has a 7.5mm thickness and thin bezel around the screen.

Google Nexus 7 2 is expected to have two variants once released on the market - the Wi-Fi only and the LTE version.
