Google Nexus 7 32GB Delivered by Mistake in Japan? Lucky Buyer! [PHOTO]

Google Nexus 7 32GB is widely rumoured to have a release date of October 24, but someone in Japan reportedly has the latest gadget already. How did that happen?
Italian gadget website notebookitalia.it reported that an online buyer from Japan has tweeted about a "shipping error." The buyer, who uses the account name @oppese on Twitter, said he ordered a 16GB Nexus 7 but he received a 32 GB unit instead. The Japanese buyer may have even been thinking Japan is not covered by the Nexus 7 32GB release date, because the unit has just been unveiled in Japan two weeks ago. Then, surprise!
The Nexus 7 is a product of Google and ASUS. It was first launched in Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. Then it was unveiled in France, Germany and Spain in late August.
Translated, the Italian website says:
"A Japanese boy ordered on Google Play Store a Nexus 7 16GB but received home a Nexus 7 32GB. The model with greater memory capacity does exist and here are the pictures."
Here is a link to oppese's tweet, which is accompanied by a photo of the gadget believed to be a Google Nexus 7 32GB.
The Italian website further writes: "We do not know if the availability is immediate at the same time in the U.S., Asia and Europe or whether the issue will be smooth."
Google has just unveiled the WiFi-only Nexus 7 in Japan on September 25. Only 8GB and 16GB units were supposed to be available at this time.
Japan was chosen as the first county for the gadget's Asian launch because it ranks third among countries with the highest number of Google Play app installs.
The Nexus 7 was launched in South Korea in the same week. Google announced South Korea ranks a notch above Japan in Google Play app installs. In November, India will host another Asian unveiling of the Google tablet.
The Nexus 7 by Google and ASUS won Gadget and Tablet of the Year at the T3 Awards 2012.
