The Google Nexus 9 preorders have started in three countries, U.S., France and Germany on the Amazon website of respective countries, states PhoneArena. According to PhoneDog, when Google had unveiled the HTC Nexus 9 tablet, it had announced that the pre-orders would start from October 17. However, Amazon has already started receiving Google Nexus 9 pre-orders from today.

The Nexus 9 tablet that is manufactured by HTC is available in two colour options, black and white. It is available in two storage options of 16 GB and 32 GB.

In the U.S., the 32 GB Google Nexus 9 is available with Amazon for $399 whereas the 64 GB model is priced at $479. For the audience in France and Germany, the respective Amazon sites have listed the 32 GB edition with a price tag of €399 and 64 GB Google Nexus 9 for €489, respectively. In France, the 32 GB Google Nexus 9 LTE model that is available only in black colour option is priced at €589.

According to PhoneArena, Amazon websites for countries like U.K., Canada and Japan haven't listed the Nexus 9 tablet. Even though Amazon has begun with the preorders of Nexus 9, the shipping date of November 3 is the same the one that was announced by Google. The official Google Nexus 9 pre-order date is October 17.

GottaBeMobile states that on the Amazon.com website, the Nexus 9 is listed as 'shipped and sold from Amazon.com.' This is clear indication that the Nexus 9 is being sold directly by the retailer giant and not by some third party seller.

The HTC Nexus 9 tablet was unveiled alongside the Nexus 6 phabet. The Nexus 9 comes preinstalled with the all new Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has an 8.9-inch display screen that supports a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536. The tablet is powered by Tegra K1 processor that clocks at 2.3 GHz and 2 GB RAM. On the backside of the Nexus 9, there is an 8 MP camera and the front side features a 1.6 MP camera. It comes housed with a massive battery of 6,700 mAh.
