Gran Turismo 6 Will Arrive on PlayStation 3 and Ends the Gaming Console's Life Cycle on November 28, 2013 [Video]
The popular and critically acclaimed racing simulation series Gran Turismo is returning to PlayStation 3 with their sixth installation of the series. Gran Turismo 6 box art leaked and rumoured to be released on November 28 this year.
Geek.com spotted an Italian retailer, Multiplayer.com about the rumoured box art of the upcoming Gran Turismo instalment and said to be released on November 28. Newegg confirmed that Gran Turismo 6 is a PS3 game but holds no details regarding the latest box art or any release date from Sony.
PlayStation 4 is speculated to be released before the end of this year and after Gran Turismo debuts on PS3. Unfortunately, the game is not easily ported to PS4 due to hardware differences and developer Polyphony Digital ships when the game is ready.
If the rumours are true, Gran Turismo would become a part of the Project CARS which is a multiplatform race for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC. Gran Turismo is expected to give more realism on car handling, race tracks recreation and better graphics.
Gran Turismo 6 would set as the last major game release for their current gaming console, PlayStation. The game will deliver the final lifecycle of PS3 and bring good selling trend yet again as always with Gran Turismo series. Gran Turismo 6 may be released with a price tag of less $300.
