Welcome to Liberty City within the open source world of Android OS. Grand Theft Auto III celebrates its 10th anniversary, and they are giving Android players modes and cheat codes for unlocking weapons, new vehicles and additional locales.

Cheat Codes
You are going to need the virtual keyboard or a real one to enter codes inside the game. To access the virtual keys, hold the MENU till the keyboard pop-ups.

Modifications

1. GT Settings Launcher

An app developed by "hacsteak25" of XDA developers which allows the player to modify many aspects of the game's graphics. GT Settings Launcher can fiddle with shadows, lighting, resolution, rendering, and blur. However, enabling all of these graphics can cause lag, slowness, and crash of the game. Making backup files will save you trouble for any issues which may arise.

2. Real GTA III

If you want more vehicles and more landmarks in the game, Real GTA3 mod can make that deal. This mod adds the following new additions:

  • New Sports Cars: Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrai F355
  • New Sedans: Lexus LS430, VW Passat, Mitsubishi Galant
  • Heavy Vehicles: Freightliner, Coca Cola truck, City Bus
  • Off-road cars: Chevrolet S-10, Hummer, Land Rover Freelander
  • Public service cars: Police Ford Crown Victoria, FBI BMW M5, Mercedes Benz A-Class Taxi
  • Special Vehicles: RC Peugeot 205, F-16, Family Frost Van
  • Mob cars: Triad DAF XF 530, Mafia Audi S8, Yakuza Toyota Spura Veilside
  • Building Outfits: Shell gas station, Coca Cola factory, IKEA
  • New Objects: Statue of Liberty, new bridge, jump ramp to Liberty Island

3. Custom Soundtrack
Android lets you play your favourite music tracks even playing GTA III but wouldn't it be better if the music tracks are being played inside the game? XDA member "Tipsek" made it possible for players to hear their favourite tune through the GTA3 radio stations. The instruction requires a few tweaks and steps to make your Android push limits with GTA3.
