World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is looking forward to adding another victory in his remarkable season as he attempts for a sixth China Open title in Beijing.

Djokovic, who already has seven titles this year and has played remarkably well during the ATP World Tour’s Asian swing, revealed that his “great memories” in tournaments held in China give him a lot of motivation to claim his sixth China Open title.

“The first time I came to Beijing was for the [2008] Olympic Games and I won the bronze medal. Ever since then, I've won five trophies here,” Djokovic told ATP World Tour’s official website. “Shanghai, I won a couple times there, won the first Masters Cup. So the record that I have in these tournaments in China gives me a lot of obvious motivation to come back, a lot of great memories that I built my approach on for this year."

Djokovic also revealed that his 2015 season is even better than the 2011 season, when he finished at 70-6 to claim the world No. 1 at the Emirates ATP Rankings. The Serb champ said he is enjoying the success he achieved this year because he feels more competent now.

Djokovic, who has already qualified for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 in London next month, will starts his title defence against Italian qualifier Simone Bolelli, according to Sky Sports. The 10-time Grand Slam winner will then team up with his younger sibling, Djordie Djokovic, in the doubles.

Meanwhile, third seed Rafael Nadal will also be in action at the China Open in a bid to close out his season on a high note. The Spaniard will face Wild Card Di Wu from China at the National Tennis Stadium in his opener.

David Ferrer, seeded fourth in the tournament, will also hope to bounce back from an elbow problem, which kept him out of Wimbledon, as he faces Thomas Bellucci of Brazil. American John Isner will also be in action when he takes on Dominic Thiem of Austria, while Adrian Mannarino of France will battle out Wild Card Lu Yen-Hsun. Canada’s Vasek Pospisil will also compete against Dominican Republic’s Victor Estrella Burgos.
