US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is being criticized for comparing mask mandates to Nazis forcing Jews to wear yellow stars

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., described a private businesses’ decision to not admit non-vaccinated patrons to segregation.

Greene tweeted on Sunday night about a sign from an Atlanta restaurant that read “NO VAX NO SERVICE.” The restaurant felt the sign was necessary after a few positive covid cases last week.

Greene started her Twitter post with, "This is segregation."

Most of what Greene listed are not deadly illnesses and private businesses can refuse service to anyone for a number of different reasons that cannot be considered grounds for discrimination.

This is not the first incendiary comment Greene has made concerning the vaccine.

She once compared mask mandates and vaccination efforts to the Holocaust and Nazism. Greene initially refused to back down tweeting “Vaccinated employees get the vaccinated logo just like the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear the gold star.”

Greene apologized in June for the comments, calling them “offensive” and “hurtful,” and adding that she is “truly sorry” and she intends to “own” her mistakes.

“There is no comparison to the Holocaust,” Greene said at a press conference.

Greene recently compared President Biden’s door-to-door efforts to get people vaccinated to the “brown shirts.”

“People have a choice, they don’t need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccination. You can’t force people to be a part of the human experiment,” Greene wrote.

On July 19, Twitter imposed a 12-hour ban on Greene for violated its policy against sharing misleading information about COVID-19.
