It seems like the cheating has gone far enough in GTA Online, so much so that developer Rockstar Games has already taken matters into their hands. In the latest blog entry, the developer has targeted GTA Online players who have been actively cheating and has given ample warning to stop.

"Those who actively engage in cheating and exploiting the game in this manner will, however, be subject to in-game penalties at our discretion. This may include being placed in isolated cheater pools or banned from GTA Online altogether," said Rockstar Games in the Newswire.

The title updates are going to continually roll out, and with the maintenance having just finished, GTA Online is back on track. Rockstar Games expects that the counterfeit GTA$ have been removed from the game to slowly revert the negative impact that it has caused to the game's economy.

Rockstar Games has also stated that those who have innocently been given GTA$ because of exploits but did not cheat in the process won't have to worry about admin action-the funds will just be removed, no harm, no foul. But as a freebie, Rockstar Games is also letting you keep any items that you currently own.

The developer has also actively asked players to report any activities of exploitations in the sessions that gamers are taking part of. There is already a direct in-game reporting functionality, which can be accessed from the Pause > Online > Players menu. just scroll down to the offending player in the Players tab, then chose Report and the specific Exploits that the player is exhibiting.

Valve goes for a more traditional Steam controller

After surprising the gaming scene with an all-new kind of controller, Valve has reverted back to what's traditional and expected for the Steam Controller.

When it was first introduced, Valve had amazed and surprised gamers when they were shown a button-less controller unlike the ones seen for the PS4 or Xbox One. instead, back then, there was only a touch pad at the center.

A lot had seen this as the advent of the touch screen, given that casual gaming has been thriving on smart devices with touch screen--and it does set Valve's controller apart from the rest.

However, in a recent update, it seems that Valve has redesigned its Steam controller, with the new design giving back the physical buttons for the D-pad and the face buttons. Eurogamer reports that the redesign was announced at Steam Dev Days, with the reason being backwards compatibility for the Steam controller.

What's more, it seems that Valve has also been experimenting with possible biometric feedback besides the hands, though no details have been revealed yet.
