Grand Theft Auto (GTA 5) PC's overwhelming demand from gamers has caused some sort of mania in the gaming world, even prompting an update on the new predictions for the PC version's expected system requirements.

While some GTA 5 PC system requirement predictions have surfaced before, such as PC codes and requirements for AMD and Intel based PCs, a new set of predicted PC requirements for the game were released recently.

The rumored specs which were improved for the newest installment of the GTA video game franchise include a new rage/euphoria engine that runs more smoothly than the previous one used for GTA 4.

Other expected system requirements for GTA 5 PC games are:

  • Windows 7 64-bit, Vista 7 or 8 Operating System
  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, Intel Core i5 2500T 2.3 GHz or Phenom II X4 975 Central Processing Unit (CPU)
  • NVidia GeForce GTX 480 or AMD Radeon HD 6970 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) or Visual Processing Unit (VPU)
  • 20 to 32 GB Hard Disk free space
  • 3 to 6 GB Random Access Memory
  • 512 MB Dedicated Memory Graphic Card
  • NVidia 9600 or ATI 4890 and up Supported Graphics Cards
  • DirectX 9 or DX 11 Compatible Sound Card

Aside from these system requirements that are expected for GTA 5 PC, there are also highly recommended system requirements for optimum gameplay.

Keep in mind that this list of GTA 5 PC expected system requirements are not official yet, and as such, are not set in stone.
