The award winning actress Kate Winslet recently admitted that she has a huge crush on her co-star Guy Pearce since she was in her teenage year.

The young actress surely charmed the entire crowd at the gala dinner of G'Day USA in LA while she entertained everyone with her revelation of holding a crush for Pearce. This was since the time of the 'Neighbours' where the actor played the character of Mike Young.

The two stars both earned Golden Globe nominations this year for their dramatic performances. All the more, the actress revealed that she was not the kind of teenager who rushed.

But with Guy Pearce, she had that exemption.

According to the actress, she even used to fake she's sick to not attend school just so she would not miss watching the show where Pearce acted.

Now that they have worked together for 'Mildred Pierce,' the actress considers the project a dream come true, and that she is proud to have had the privilege of working with the actor and being his friend.

On the other hand, the humble actor arrived with his wife and never forgot to express his thanks to all his co-stars including Russell Crowe and Hugo Weaving. Also, Pearce did not miss giving thanks to the acting community of Australia's Aboriginal.

Pearce has also played the role of King Edward VIII for the highly awarded 2011 film 'The King's Speech' and also finished taping two Irish telemovies for Australia's ABC. He was one of the three honoured Aussies during the event with others named as Luc Longley and the Air Supply.
