Halle Berry rejoins cast of “New Year’s Eve”
Monster's Ball actress, Halle Berry plays a nurse for her new role in "New Year's Eve"
Oscar award winning actress, Halle Berry has rejoined the cast of “New Year’s Eve” following the ruling of a Los Angeles judge that will allow her to shoot the film.
According to Pamela McClintock of the Associated Press, the LA judge handling the custody case has ruled to allow Berry to travel to New York with her daughter, Nahla.
The film, based in sequences at the Big Apple, is now being shot by director Gary Marshall at the city.
Berry has earlier requested to be released from the romantic film to attend to the custody battle against ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.
But the AP noted that Halle would be playing a smaller role in the film, compared to her original role.The Monster’s Ball star will be playing a nurse for her new role. She was replaced by Katherine Heigl for the original role.
Along with Heigl, Berry joins A-list cast of characters for the film. As earlier reported by IBTimes, other Hollywood big stars named by The Age to join the all- star cast include Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer, another Oscar winner, Hillary Swank and Glee star, Lea Michelle. Joining them are Jon Bon Jovi, Seth Meyers, Jessica Biel, Zac Efron, Sofia Vergara, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
