Halo 4, Scott Pilgrim, Dance Central 3 Release DLCs
It's a week of multiplayer expansion as DLC packs are up for release.
Halo 4, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and Dance Central 3 all have map packs and downloadable content coming up, but one of them has potentially bigger news tucked away in fine print.
Halo 4's Castle Map Pack
Halo goes three-for-three as it readies the release of its third and final DLC pack for next month.
According to EuroGamer, the Castle Map Pack will feature full-scale battles, and combats across maps namely the tunnels of Outcast, mountain range of Daybreak, and war-scarred urban setting in Perdition.
The multiplayer expansion will be released on April 8, and can be purchased for 800 Microsoft Points or $10, reports Joystiq. The pack also includes a 6-on-6 playlist for co-op and team-oriented goals.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Multiplayer Online
Just because Scott Pilgrim is supposedly the loser doesn't mean he has to battle on the evil exes alone. And just because you're taking on the titular character doesn't mean you have to either.
PlayStation Network has just released a downloadable content that lets you play with your pals wherever they may be, and team up for some multiplayer mode for the side-scroller game, reports PlayStation.com.
Plus, you'll also get Wallace Wells into the mix and the chance to win four new trophies.
The DLC pack will be out this week for $4.99. PlayStation Plus members can enjoy 20%, if you order between March 12 and March 26.
Dance Central 3: The last DLC
In its official website, Harmonix announced that the last DLC for Dance Central 3, out this month, will be the last for Dance Central 3.
And it may potentially be the last, as Harmonix adds, "As Harmonix moves forward with several new titles currently in development, the talented developers who make this content are needed on other projects."
According to Joystiq, this is the second time for Harmonix, with Rock Band 3 also having its last DLC for April. It seems that the new titles not only require more manpower but warrant that much attention for its developers-may it be readying itself for next-gen console games?
