Agent Locke may have been getting a lot of attention for the upcoming "Halo 5: Guardians," but that does not mean that he will be taking the limelight for the title. Developer 343 has already confirmed that Master Chief will still be the main hero, though there may be a new antagonist debuting in "Halo 5: Guardians."

Speaking with OXM, the developer has also confirmed plans to expand the cast with the plan of future sequels at play. 343's Bonnie Ross said that Master Chief remains to be the hero, but more cast will mean more supporting members for his crew that can survive to possibly create other titles. One of them is Locke, who has already appeared in the cut scenes in the upcoming "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" despite being a non-playable character.
