Matchmaking seems to be one of the bigger issues that is plaguing "Halo: Master Chief Collection," and fans have already started taking their complaints online. The good thing though is Microsoft has sought out the complaints.

Gamespot reports that the problems are now being addressed by 343 Industries and Microsoft, with the assurance that they are putting all their efforts in fixing the problems. "Sorry about the issues; I know our fans expect more from us. Team is making progress but I know it's still disappointing," said Xbox head Phil Spencer over Twitter as quoted by Gamespot.

The main problem with "Halo: Master Chief Collection" and its matchmaking system is the time that it takes for matchmaking to occur takes way longer. Even though a fix has already been arranged, it is not yet enough of a fix to address the issue in the long run. For now, the matchmaking issues are already affecting much of the online activity, including the Halo Championship season one.

However, it appears that 343 Industries' original plan of releasing the multiplayer patch for "Halo: Master Chief Collection" will still not be fulfilled. DualShockers reports that the patch will need additional testing and certification before it is released. Now there is no set date for when the multiplayer patch will be available, but it seems that 343 Industries is still gunning for release this week.

In other "Halo" related news, fans have suggested a new petition, this time aimed to convince Microsoft and 343 Industries to release the "Halo: Master Chief Collection" on the PC. This petition, found over at Change.org, has actually been around since June this year, but it has finally reached half of its expected supporters.

Sadly, a PC version seems to be the farthest on the list in the meantime for the developer. Way back, 343 Industries' Dan Ayoub has already confirmed with Kotaku that a release on the PC is not yet in their timeline.

"Right now, we're a couple months out from the Xbox version's release, and that's our main focus right now; that's quite honestly where all our headspace is right now," said Ayoub to Kotaku.

This seems to be the case even though the Xbox One's next-gen technology and hardware has pushed the Xbox console to an even similar level to the PC. But beyond hardware similarities, Ayoub did mention that a PC version is not just a PC port, given the massiveness of the collection. Because of this, it seems like PC fans will need to wait a lot longer, timeline-wise.
