‘Home and Away' spoilers for June 6: Evie reels from Josh’s shocking revelation; Ricky gets torn between her past and present life

It will be a blast from the past in Summer Bay, as some deal with supposedly buried secrets and closed books. Next week on “Home and Away,” Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast) deals with another devastating news, after Josh Barrett (Jackson Gallagher) finally comes clean about his bloody secret.

Fans wonder how Evie will be able to cope with this latest heartbreak, especially since she’s just starting to recover from the loss of a loved one and a friend’s departure. Meanwhile, Ricky Sharpe (Bonnie Sveen) will also receive an unexpected surprise, when Darryl “Brax” Braxton (Steve Peacocke) shows up. He’s there for one purpose alone: to get his family back.

Back to the Bay reports that Evie’s world comes crashing down with Josh confession. Meanwhile, Ash betrays Kat to protect Josh. Elsewhere, someone from Ricky’s past pays her a visit, which may lead to more complications in her life.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek for tonight’s episode. The trailer shows Evie professing her love for Josh. He then reveals that he’s in trouble. Evie wonders, “What kind of trouble?” On the next scene, Andy forces Josh to go with him somewhere. The preview video also shows Ash meeting Tori’s brother, but it wasn’t a friendly encounter. Ash almost got into a car accident with them and they weren’t too forgiving. Brax also figures on the clip as he tells Ricky, “Without you in my life, I’m nothing.” He then asks something that would rock Ricky’s world: He wants Ricky and Casey to leave with him.

The previous episode showed Ricky receiving a birthday card for Casey – it’s from Brax. When Nate arrived, she quickly hid the mail. Nate found it when she left for a bit. He confronted Ricky for not being upfront about it, and Ricky said she did so because she knew it would upset him. She said the last thing they need is a reminder about the guy whom Ricky had a kid with, considering that they can’t have one of their own. Nate said this wasn’t the first time that Ricky lied about Brax. Ricky insisted that the problem is between her and Nate, and it has nothing to do with her ex. Nate walked off.

Later, at Nate’s office party, Ricky showed up and tried to blend in. However, she felt like a fifth wheel and when Tori mentioned an after-party get-together, Ricky begged off. After a few drinks, Tori brought a clearly drunk Nate home. Ricky crashed in her mum’s place, so Tori and Nate were alone. He revealed to Tori the real reason why he’s in such a state. “Deep down, I always knew – she’ll never love me the same way she loves him,” he said. He fell asleep and Tori left.

Elsewhere, Kat cornered Josh and told him that she can’t keep their secret forever. “I want you to check in where she’s at and let me know,” she ordered him. Josh begged Kat to give him more time, saying that the case is closed anyway. Kat relented despite her hesitations. Unfortunately, Kat learned later that case is being reopened to make sure that the victim’s killer pays for what he did.

Meanwhile, Tank and Skye’s loved ones, especially John, were getting worried about the young couple’s whereabouts. The two were seen driving off, but when Tank saw Skye looking bothered, he stopped the car and asked her if she’s sure about leaving. “I don’t want you to do something that you’re going to regret,” he told her. Skye said she doesn’t want to go anywhere without Tank. The two kissed then went back on the road.
