The story of Dracula and his family continues in “Hotel Transylvania 2.” The producers of the movie have released a new trailer that shows a funny scene from the movie. The scene also hints at what the new obsession of the protagonist is in the movie. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]

The official teaser trailer of the movie was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The trailer shows that Dracula is now a grandfather and he has a new mission. The vampire and his friends want to teach the young boy how to fly, in the hope that the boy turns out to be a vampire too.

The 2012 movie from the franchise ended with Dracula’s daughter, Mavis and her human boyfriend, Jonathan, getting back together. The new movie may feature their son, who is half human and half vampire. Dracula has never been fond of the humans in the animation movie, but decided to make an exception with Jonathan.

Dracula attempts to teach the boy to fly by throwing him off from a very high structure in the scene from “Hotel Transylvania 2.” The teaser trailer reveals that the boy may not be a vampire, yet, and Dracula will have to catch him before he falls to the ground. In the previous movie, Mavis had to jump off of her bed to learn how to fly.

Frankenstein, Murray and Griffin will help Dracula in “Hotel Transylvania 2” to teach the boy to fly. The three characters also featured in the previous movie and are close friends of the protagonist. But, teaching the boy to fly will not be the only problem for the vampire in the movie.

A new vampire called Vlad will be coming to the hotel that Dracula built for Mavis. Vlad will come unannounced to enjoy a family get-together. The very old vampire will be heading on a collision course with Dracula and even Jonathan may not be spared. The voice of Vlad in the upcoming movie will be by the veteran actor Mel Brooks.

Some of the other cast members who will be lending their voice to the characters in “Hotel Transylvania 2” are Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg and Kevin James. The movie is slated to be released on Sept 25, 2015 in the U.S. and Canada, Oct 9 in U.K. and on Nov 26 in Australia and New Zealand.
