As viewers count down to the "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 premiere, more details and video clips spill out about the exciting events to come. Another recently released promo video clip featuring Lily Aldrin sitting next to "The Mother" on a train has been released as well as some details on upcoming Episode 3 titled "Last Time in New York."

The brief "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 promo video begins with a narrator stating "Eight years ago - this man - sat down with these kids - to explain how he met their mother. On Monday, Sept. 23 - See the Mother -- Meet the Mother - Get to know the Mother." Afterwards, the teaser video shows actress Cristin Milioti as "The Mother" on a train with Lily Aldrin.

Lily appears to be the first one to meet the future Mrs Ted Mosby, but the two did not start off in good terms. The promo video clip shows "The Mother" offering Lily a cookie. Lily then stated, "Sorry I tried to bite you." To this "The Mother" responded, "Sorry I swatted you on the nose with a rolled-up magazine."

Furthermore, a SpoilerTV report revealed another exciting episode title and synopsis for "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9. Episode 3 will be titled "Last Time in New York." The synopsis reads: "When Lily discovers Ted's list of things he wants to do in New York before he moves for Chicago, she becomes frustrated that she is the only person who knows about his plans. Meanwhile, Robin and Barney realize they have very little time together before their relatives arrive for their wedding."

"There'll be some tough family stuff for them to deal with, but they'll get through it," executive producer Cartey Bays stated, according to the TVLine report. Mr Bays added that actor John Lithgow, who will guest appear as Barney Stinson's dad, will have a nice moment with his son.

For the premiere episodes "The Locket/Coming Back" on September 23, executive producer Carter Bays revealed in the same TVLine report that "HIMYM" Season 9 will occur during Barney and Robin's wedding weekend with a lot of flashbacks and flashforwards. One of the flashbacks will include the time between "the night Lily told Ted about the locket in the box" to the day the two headed for the upcoming wedding.

"The events of that week will have a lot to do with where Ted's head is at in terms of Robin and Barney. He's had quite a week," the executive producer revealed. The final season will include as well a poker game for the groomsmen, a glitter-filled dance, a final slap from the slap bet, the possibility of a Robin Sparkles return and a very exciting revelation in episode 200.

"There's a way in which we get to know the mother more this season, and that episode is a good indication of it," executive producer Craig Thomas stated about the TV sitcom's 200th episode. "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 will return on Monday, September 23, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
