'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers: Barney's Bad Rehearsal Dinner Idea, Watch Episode 12 'The Rehearsal Dinner' Promo Videos

The hilarious previews on the upcoming episode of "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 have been released to tease the awaiting fans on what will happen next in the show. Two promo videos are shown in The Latino Post report where Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) comes up with what the gang describes as the worst idea ever in Episode 12 titled "The Rehearsal Dinner."

So what exactly is Barney's worst idea ever in the new episode? A laser tag rehearsal dinner and he seems excited about it. According to the Hollywood Hills report, Barney will be so wrapped up on having his rehearsal dinner at a laser tag joint with Robin (Cobie Smulders) getting disappointed at the suggestion.

Then, the second promo video has the new episode's story shifting to Robin wanting the wedding to happen in Canada. The HIMYM gang found the suggestion hilarious and started to say jokes about Canada that are designed to poke fun at Robin.

As for the guest stars making an appearance in the "The Rehearsal Dinner," it includes Wayne Brady as James Stinson, Alan Thicke as Himself, Patrick Hancock as the Security Guard, Lawrence Larsen as Dr. Frederick Banting, Jeff Kueppers as Norman Breakey and Victoria Boa as Louise Poirier.

TV Line has revealed as well other spoilers for an upcoming episode in "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 courtesy of executive producer Craig Thomas. "There's an episode coming up that's ... mostly in flashback and mostly set in China. It will make sense once you see it. There's a lot of crazy time machine, structural jumpiness coming up that I think people will enjoy," Mr Thomas teased.

However, the team behind the successful comedy series remains tight-lipped when it comes to the details on the important event of the final season ever since the back-to-back premiere episodes aired: how Ted Mosby (Joshy Radnor) finally met "The Mother" (Cristin Milioti).

"How I Met Your Mother" Season 9, Episode 12 "The Rehearsal Dinner" is scheduled to air on Monday, December 2, at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. EST on the CBS network.
