Facebook Home has recently been released and used as application launcher for selective Galaxy and HTC devices with live feeds displayed on your screen. XDA developer released a way to make Facebook Home allowable to any Android device.

How to Install Facebook Home

1. You are going to need to download a RAR archive file on your computer. Click here to download the file.

2. After you have downloaded the RAR file, you need to extract the APK files inside. Install the RAR application on your computer to extract the files.

3. Uninstall the current Facebook application installed on your Android device. One of the APK file will install Facebook app later.

4. Copy the two APK files you have extracted from the RAR archive to your Android device via Clouding, Email, USB cable, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.

5. Install the Facebook app (com.facebook.katana.apk) on your device from the where you have saved it.

6. Once it is completed, install the Facebook Home app (.com.facebook.home.apk) on your device from where you have saved it.

7. Done! Press the Home key and let the Facebook Home load. The app will request for a Facebook login so make sure you have an Internet connection active.

You can also install the Facebook Messenger to combine with the Facebook Home function.

To see all your applications, tap on the screen till you see your profile picture an drag it to the "app" icon. Swipe left from the Facebook Status pop-up and it will display all your applications installed.

If you want your status bar to appear constantly, press the Menu key on the home screen and select Home Settings to activate it.
