How Leonardo DiCaprio reacted to Jennifer Lopez’s Carpool Karaoke prank
Leonardo DiCaprio was cool with Jennifer Lopez and James Corden pranking him on TV. The Academy Award winner became an unwitting guest star in “The Late Late Show with James Corden” segment when the titular host borrowed Lopez’s iPhone and texted him.
The Carpool Karaoke special last week saw Lopez helping Corden get to his work faster by hitching a carpool ride. There were the usual sing-a-longs and mini interviews to clear rumours (no, she did not have her famous buttocks insured).
Perhaps the highlight of her guest appearance in the segment was when the English presenter took Lopez’s iPhone
“I did have to explain it to him,” the “American Idol” judge admitted to reporters (via ET Online). “He was a great sport about it ... I was like, ‘So hey, this is what had happened! I was with James Corden ...’”
She continued, “He’s great. He’s a friend and it was nice. He was totally like, ‘Do whatever you want, I don’t care.’ I don’t know if he’d say that today!’”

In the show, which aired Tuesday in the US, Corden borrowed Lopez’s iPhone and asked about the names of famous people she has on her contact list. She has Fergie, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, Christiano Ronaldo and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in her address book.
“Hey baby. I’m kind of feeling that I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know,” Corden typed a text message for DiCaprio using Lopez’s phone. “J. Lo, you know, from the block,” he signed the message, referencing Lopez’s stage name and song.
“I’m gonna have to explain this,” Lopez laughed as Corden hit “send” on the phone.
Moments later, DiCaprio replied. “You mean tonight, boo boo?” Lopez read the A-list star’s message. “Clubwise?”
Lopez had not talked to DiCaprio since the segment aired, though. When asked if she took up on his offer to let loose “clubwise,” Lopez said she stayed home to cook for her kids and boyfriend Casper Smart, just like she said she would in the show.
