How to Update Google Nexus 7 LTE version with Android 4.4.1 [Download Link]
Today, the first update for the newest candy bar from Google, the Android 4.4.1 is rolling out. Here is a step-by-step download procedure for the Google Nexus 7 LTE 2013 version Android 4.4.1 OTA.
Before you start the download process, keep in mind that this will only work for the LTE model of the Google Nexus 7. This will not flash in the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi version.
What to expect with the Android 4.4.1 update? At this point, camera improvements were made with the Nexus 5 but it is still early to tell the other improvements.

Requirements
- To be able to complete the steps mentioned below, you must have the Android SDK preinstalled. This includes the newest version of the fastboot and the adb, which are required for flashing.
- You also need a MicroUSB cable to execute fastboot flash, adb sideload and other necessary commands. However, if you are merely downloading the OTA zip to your device and just flashing it from recovery, you won't need USB cable anymore.
- Your device must be on Android 4.4 KRT16S.

Similar to the native OTA update process, this method will not wipe your data.

In the event that you already have your custom recovery, it can already be flashed from here, simply copy the file.
Rooting
This Android 4.4.1 update will probably kill root on rooted devices. However, you can get back by following these steps:
- From here, flash TWRP
- Reboot to recovery by adb reboot recovery or hold Power+VolDn, then choose Recovery.
- Flash the newest version of the SuperSU
After the last step, your device must be rooted back.
