HTC officially denies Vive 2 reports: No wireless and 4K VR headset to be revealed at CES 2017
Bad news, Vive fans. HTC has debunked the report about the company launching a so-called Vive 2 VR headset at next year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2017). The made-up second generation Vive made fans drool over its supposedly new features.

Unfortunately, all of the chitchat turns out to be untrue as HTC has officially denied it will be launching a Vive 2 device anytime soon.
“There is no truth to the rumour of launching Vive 2 at CES 2017,” HTC’s official statement read. “At Vive, we are laser focused on building out a strong and growing ecosystem for current and future Vive owners so they can experience the best room-scale VR with the most compelling content available.”
