HTC One 2, also known as HTC M8, may come with a little brother during its release date at Mobile World Congress 2014 set next month.

Consumers may see two HTC smartphones next month as the two new HTC devices surfaced in the Indonesian certification database Postel. One of the smartphones is the heavily rumoed HTC M8, aimed as HTC One's successor. The device is expected for release at the MWC event in February.

According to rumors, the next-generation HTC One will either pack a full HD screen panel or 2K screen display. HTC rivals and competitors are heading toward screens with 2K pixels. HTC One 2 will also sport a 5-inch display. Reports added HTC M8 will have features such as ultrapixel rear camera and 2.1 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB RAM, 2,900 mAh battery and Sense 6.0.

HTC One 2 will also pack either a quadcore Snapdragon 800 processor or the latest Snapdragon 805 CPU similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This will yield better and faster processing. Some reports suggested HTC One 2 will sport a 6 MP or an 8 MP UltraPixel back camera with double lens and microSD card slot for expandable storage. It is expected that HTC One 2 will run with the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS paired with the HTC Sense 6.0 user interface that is aimed to deliver a fluid and smooth experience.

Another HTC smartphone coming next month is a device named HTC D310w. It is speculated the handset is a mid-range smartphone aiming for emerging markets. Reports predicted HTC D310w is the next addition to the Desire line that is quite popular in Asia and Europe.

Details of the smartphone are scarce but rumors claimed the smartphone will pack a Snapdragon processor inside paired with a smaller RAM. The device will cost around $330, a very friendly price for the middle class.

Devices are expected to be introduced next month although some reports said HTC will hold its own elaborate launching event like Apple and Samsung in March.
