HTC One M10 (HTC 10) release date: Specs, features, price revealed ahead of April 12 Launch; Find out how to watch livestream event
The HTC One M9 from 2015 is going to be soon replaced by Its successor, HTC 10 (aka HTC One M10) on April 12. Its entire specifications and features have been already revealed by the rumor mill.
HTC 10 Launch Event and Livestream
The HTC 10 flagship smartphone will be launched on April 12. The Taiwanese tech giant will allow users to view the livestream of the launch event on HTC’s website. The launch event is expected to be held at three locations such as New York, London and Taipei. During the HTC 10 launch even, the Taiwanese firm is also expected to unleash a new Desire smartphone.
HTC 10 Specifications, Features and Price
The HTC One M10 will be arriving with a Super LCD 3 panel of 5.15-inch and its will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC that will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. Its internal storage is expected as 32 GB and its external storage will support up to 200 GB of microSD card.
The HTC 10 will also feature a fingerprint scanner embedded under its physical Home button. HTC 10 is heavily pegged to deliver stellar camera experience. Rumors are rife that the front-facing camera of 5 MP will carry support for optical image stabilization (OIS), Phandroid reported. The 12 MP rear camera of HTC 10 is expected to come with features like OIS and laser autofocus.
It will arrive preinstalled with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS that will be overlaid with HTC Sense 8.0 UI. Rumors also suggest that it will be featuring the best BoomSound audio experience through its two speaker grilles. It will be packed with a huge battery of 3000 mAh capacity.
The HTC One M10 will house a full metallic chassis that will be equipped with chamfered edges. It is expected to come in multiple color variants such as black, white, gold and silver. The HTC One M10 price has not been revealed yet. However, it is expected to be priced at $700 (AU$930). At the end of the previous month, a Romanian retailer had started HTC 10 preorders with a pricing of $830 (AU$1130).
