'HTC One M10' leaked images indicate gold colour variant, smartphone may support Vive VR headset for notifications
The unannounced HTC smartphone may come with support for HTC Vive VR headset, according to unconfirmed reports.
The HTC One M10, also called the HTC 10, has been shown in several leaked renders. A freshly leaked image of the HTC 10 shows the smartphone in gold colour variant. The device is also rumoured to be the company’s first smartphone with a Quad HD display and USB-C connectivity.
The newly leaked live screenshots were posted by a user of the HD Blog community. The live images also indicate metal design for the HTC M10 (One M10).
The Taiwanese tech giant already released the first teaser of rumoured HTC 10 (One M10) on its official Twitter account with #powerof10.
The teaser image shows the smartphone in metallic body with chamfered edges. Supporting the previously teased image, the new live render also display the HTC 10 (One M10) with a chamfered edges, adorning a metallic body.
Moreover, the images also indicate that the unannounced HTC One M10 will sport a physical home button, a slightly projected rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash.
According to a report in Digitimes, a Taipei-based publication named Central News Agency (CNA) cited that HTC’s upcoming 2016 flagship smartphone will come with support for Vive VR (virtual reality) headset for viewing notifications. The report also mentions that the device may be named as HTC One 10.
However, HTC is yet to confirm the official name of the handset.
Earlier, HTC has confirmed that its Vive VR headset will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices. While enjoying the immersive virtual reality experience the user can also answer phone calls and view notifications.
According to previous leaks, the HTC 10 (One M10) specs include a 5.15-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera and USB Type-C port.
The company hasn't announced the HTC One M10 release date.
