HTC One M8 For Windows To Be Available With T-Mobile In The US For $585.60 Or 2-Year Contract Deal Starting Tomorrow
From Nov. 19, HTC One M8 for Windows will be available for purchase through T-Mobile in the U.S. Earlier this month, the handset was listed on T-Mobile's online shop with a "coming soon" tag, and now it has finally arrived.
With T-Mobile, buyers will be able to purchase the HTC One M8 for Windows with no upfront payment and by making monthly payments of $24.40 per month for two years or purchase it for full retail price of $585.60. T-Mobile has announced the Nov. 19 HTC One M8 for Windows through an official tweet.
The handset was first launched by Verizon in the month of August, and since then it has been the only carrier to offer the device. Earlier this month, even AT&T confirmed the arrival of HTC One M8 for Windows on its network. As far as HTC One M8 for Windows specifications is concerned, it is same as that of the original Android variant that was released in the month of March this year.
The HTC One M8 for Windows features a 5-inch full HD display that supports 441 ppi. It is driven by Snapdragon 801 SoC that consists of 2.3 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics. It is supported by 2 GB of RAM. The handset is available in two storage options of 16 GB and 32 GB. The external storage of the device supports up to 128 GB of microSD card. The rear features a dual-image 4-Ultrapixel camera enabled with dual-LED flash. Instead of the Android OS, the handset features Windows Phone 8.1.
According PC World, even though both Android and Windows Phone versions of HTC One M8 are packed with the same 2,600 mAh non-removable battery, the Windows Phone edition offers better battery life. For instance, the Android version offers a 3G talk time of 20 hours, whereas the Windows Phone edition offers a 3G talk time of 22 hours. The standby time available with Android model is 496 hours, whereas the Windows Phone version produces a standby time of 528 hours.
