HTC One M9 was announced on March 1. Before its arrival, HTC was also rumoured to launch the HTC One M9 Plus alongside the HTC One M9. However, it did not come true, but still the HTC One M9 Plus rumours haven’t died yet. Two leaked photos of HTC One M9 Plus again surfaced that shows that the handset is still in the process of getting unveiled soon.

Two alleged photos of HTC One M9 Plus that first surfaced on Chinese social networking Weibo have been shared on sources like upleaks and Mobilissimo.ro. The handset appears to be quite similar to the One M9 in appearance. The HTC One M9 houses a 5-inch full HD display. However, the One M9 Plus is rumoured to feature a 5.2-inch display that supports Quad HD resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels.

One of the images that reveal the rear panel of the device shows that it features a dual-LED flash along with huge round camera. Rumours have it that the HTC One M9 will be powered by a MediaTek MT6795 octa-core processor that works at 2 GHz speed, says Phone Arena. The MediaTek edition of the HTC One M9 Plus will be aimed towards Asian markets, says the upleaks website.

A Snapdragon 810 chipset edition of the HTC One M9 Plus is also said to be under the wraps. The chipset will be supported by 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 32 GB. The BoomSound speakers that are present on the HTC One M9 will come to the Plus edition device. Moreover, a fingerprint reader is also speculated to be present on it. The upleaks website says that the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the front side of the device.

It is also expected to bring along a battery of 2,840 mAh capacity that is also present inside the HTC One M9 flagship. It will be made available in colours like gunmetal grey, gold and gold/silver combo. Phone Arena also speculates that the device will be launched as HTC Desire A55 for Chinese audience.
