HTC One M9 vs LG G4 -- A Comparison Based On Purported Specs
The HTC One M9 often dubbed as HTC Hima is the flagship smartphone that is expected to arrive this year by March. The South Korean tech giant that surprised the tech world by launching the first Quad HD display smartphone, the LG G3, is going to unleash a powerful LG G4 flagship very soon. Here is a comparison between the two handsets based on purported specifications.
Display, Processor, RAM And Storage
The HTC One M9 is speculated to come housed with a 5-inch display that supports full HD resolution, states GSMArena through leaked AnTuTu benchmarks. The LG G4 flagship will come with a 5.3-inch display that supports Quad HD resolution, says WCCFTech.
The HTC One M9 will be blessed with a Snapdragon 810 chipset featuring 64-bit octa-core processor along with Adreno 430 graphics. It is expected to arrive with 3 GB of RAM. The LG G4 will be also powered by the same chipset. The LG G4 is expected to offer smoother performance as it is rumoured to arrive with 4 GB of RAM.
The octa-core processor on the two flagships will feature one quad-core Cortex A53 processor gunning at 1.5 GHz and another quad-core Cortex A57 processor clocking at 2 GHz. Both the handsets are expected to come with native storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB and are also going to be equipped with an external card slot that supports up to 128 GB of microSD. The LG G4 is expected to come with LG G-Pen stylus. Such a feature is not present on the HTC One M9.
Camera, Software And Battery
Load The Game states that HTC is not going to continue with "Ultrapixel" camera technology on the HTC One M8 successor. The HTC flagship is expected to come with a 20.7 MP camera that will support OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The selfie camera sitting at the front will be of 13 MP. On the other side, IBTimes report on top 5 upcoming smartphones of this year states that the LG G4 will also come with a 20.7 MP camera and it will also sport a 5 MP front-facing camera.
The HTC One M9 as well as the LG G4 will come preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The HTC One M9 will be packed with a 2,840 mAh capacity battery whereas the LG G4 is rumoured to come with a larger battery of 3500 mAh, states Techno Chilly.
