HTC One Max to Beat Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in Terms of Specs, Features and Price?
A rumour emerged that Taiwanese mobile manufacturer HTC is set to release its own phablet known as HTC One Max that will dive into battle with Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
HTC One Max will be the first phablet developed by the Taiwan-based phone maker and all the reports are indicating that it will borrow the design lines of the HTC One flagship that was introduced in February 2013.
There is no official release date yet from HTC but the latest rumors are saying that the phablet will run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie out of the box, suggesting that the handset will hit the market late November or early December.
Other sources are pointing out that the HTC One Max will be officially unveiled at IFA Berlin 2013 tech fair. If so, then there's no way we will see the HTC phablet coming pre-loaded with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie as the next major Android update will not be released sooner than October, when Google will celebrate its mobile operating system's fifth birthday.
HTC One Max is speculated to feature a 5.9-inch Super LCD3 display; 32GB and 64GB internal storage; Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz; 2GB RAM; LTE Connectivity; and 13 megapixels rear camera.
Some of the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, on the other hand, are 6.3-inch Full HD screen display; unbreakable, flexible screen; 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor chip; stylus and finger hovering feature; Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS; 16 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI and 3 megapixel front camera with 'Best Photo,' 'Best Faces,' low light show and BSI; 32, 64 and 128 GB internal memory options expandable storage via microSD cards; 4,000 mAh Li-on battery.
However, both companies have not confirmed the rumours yet. Consumers will have to wait and see.
