HTC One Release Date in Australia by 'Mid April,' AT & T to Accept Pre-Order from Apr. 4, High Demand Anticipated
HTC One, one of the most promising 2013 Android smartphones, is coming out this month. Instead of an international simultaneous release as earlier reported, HTC has made releasing adjustments due to some component supply issues. In Australia, pre-orders are being taken care of now by at least one online store. In the U.S. AT&T will begin taking pre-orders on Apr. 4, according to a report.
The HTC One price tag on MobiCity is marked $769 for the 4G LTE device. "Black and Silver stocks are due to arrive in mid to late April (delayed from the original date provided by HTC due to component supply issues)," reads the online store announcement. The tech store also stressed to gadget shoppers: "demand for this exceptional smartphone is high!" The HTC One was previously known as the HTC One M7.

In its report, Android Authority said AT&T will begin taking HTC One pre-orders on April 4. Buyers are expected to receive their handsets around April 19. "HTC's flagship will come in 32GB and 64GB models on AT&T's network for $199 and $299, respectively, and on a new two-year contract with the carrier," reads the AA report.
HTC One specs attract Android fans for several reasons. But one of the most notable first impressions is the One's thoughtful, unexpectedly classy aluminum design. The device is only 9.3mm thick. The former M7 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. Also intriguing is how Sense Voice and Blinkfeed would work in the latest Android iteration. The One's Ultrapixel camera will also be tested soon, along with the Zoe camera features.
Inside the HTC One is a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, clocking at 1.7GHz on board a Qualcomm chip with 2GB of DDR2 RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Whether you're in Australia or in the U.S., the HTC One will be accessible to you. If you're shopping for a phone upgrade, this handset will not disappoint. Its large 4.7-inch Full HD display (468 pixels per inch) will enhance your media consumption experience.
