HTC One: Sprint Offers First Software Update to Fix the Back and Home Key Sensitivity Problem
Sprint assures that the back and home key sensitivity problem will be solved on the HTC One smart phone with their first software update. The Sprint update has been confirmed on their web site with the inclusion of other fixes on the issues encountered on the HTC smart phone.
The currently available over-the-air (OTA) software update will provide HTC One with the 1.29.651.10 version that will deal with the capacitive button sensitivity problem. Users complained how it was annoying especially when the HTC One smart phone is placed face down on a surface.
Details about the Sprint update for the HTC One is available at this link:

Touch targets for the HTC One capacitive buttons were reportedly set closely to the screen display that causes the sensitivity problem. Sprint's OTA software update will basically increase the touch targets settings so the capacitive back and home buttons will no longer respond to unnecessary smart phone taps.
The Sprint web site indicates as well improvements on "BlinkFeed" but accurate information were not explained as to what it can do to the HTC One. Another inclusion in the Sprint software update is the improvement on Sprint Zone.
Furthermore, Taiwanese smart phone manufacturer HTC offers a couple of enhancements to go with the update that solves the HTC One key sensitivity problem. The enhancements included are better camera and improvements with Beats Audio as well as Bluetooth features but they were not officially mentioned yet for this particular software update.
The Sprint software update will be released gradually in stages. HTC One owners should patiently wait for Sprint's further announcements on the update's release stages in order to get a hold of it and eventually have the smart phone issues fixed.
